OUR PROGRAMS
Earning a driver’s license has long been a rite of passage for teens. Meadows is pleased to offer both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel driving lessons throughout the Palmer area and surrounding towns.
Get Ready!
Meadows’ program provides students with a thorough understanding of the Rules of the Road so that they are ready to take the Learners Permit Exam at any of the Full-Service RMV Branches. Meadows’ friendly customer service staff works with teens and parents to schedule behind-the-wheel driving lessons with our Certified Professional Driving Instructors at times that fit teen students’ busy schedules.

Regular Course
In order to obtain a Class D Drivers License, the state requires 30 hours of in-class instruction with 12 hours behind-the-wheel instruction and 6 hours of observation all conducted with a Professional Driving Instructor.
*Note: Students under the age of 18 also need to have a parent or guardian attend a 2 hour Parent Class PRIOR to the student starting behind the wheel instruction. Click here for Parent Class info.

Ultimate Beginner
Twelve (12) 1hr Behind The Wheel Lessons

This package is geared towards an individual that has little to no experience operating a motor vehicle and who does not have the ability to practice driving on a consistent basis.
Meadows Driving School will assess the individual’s driving skills to determine if more than the 12 lessons are needed.
Adult Beginner

Our Adult Beginner package is great for someone who has some knowledge about the roadway and how a vehicle operates but needs to gain more experience in order to be a safe and responsible driver.
It is important that the driver gets practice driving with somebody other than Meadows Driving School.
Adult Intermediate
Six (6) 1hr Behind The Wheel Lessons

Our Intermediate package is designed to give an individual that hasn’t driven in a while a refresher course on the ins and outs of driving so they will have the skills to pass the road test.
It is important that the driver gets practice driving with somebody other than Meadows Driving School.

This Advanced package will give an individual the confidence and knowledge to pass their Road Test.
This package is for behind the wheel lessons only. The Road Test fees are not included with this package.
HIGHWAY LESSONS
Highway Lessons
Call for pricing
Highway lessons are available for someone who has plenty of practice driving and is confident on the roadway but has little to no experience driving on a highway. These lessons will give the individual practice driving on the Massachusetts TurnPike as well as the dual lane highway of Route 20 from Sturbridge to Palmer.
The highway lessons consist of two (2) one hour lessons.
